This will help on so many levels:<\/p>\n

As women, we are more at risk of losing our reproductive rights than men, so logging our menstrual cycles into apps that could be legally forced to turn over that information is a BIG no.<\/li>\n
Relying on a period tracking app, for me, felt like I was completely detached from my own body, and it felt like I no longer knew when my period was coming without checking my app.<\/li>\n
We have become incredibly dependent on our phones for everything, you might say it\u2019s easier to have everything on the same device\/object, sure it\u2019s convenient but it\u2019s also addictive.<\/li>\n
The more we rely on an electronic\/ \u201csmart\u201d device for our every need, the less we use our brains which means we become dumber.<\/li>\n
So this is my new initiative, return to tactile, get back in touch with my body and its natural clock and timeline. Our bodies are amazing but they need our help to function properly and continuously, let\u2019s take back control, and forge a new off-screen relationship with our cycles.<\/li>\n
This will also force us to pause, breathe and actively take care of our own health, if we take the time to pick up a pen and paper and write down what our body is feeling, when it\u2019s feeling it, how, etc. we will slowly but steadily feel better, especially in the long run. We were never meant to be stuck to a screen 24\/7.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
